US comedian legend Jerry Lewis dies at 91
Veteran American entertainer Jerry Lewis, whose famous comedies “The Nutty Professor” brought him into limelight of millions of people, was reported dead today aged 91.
One of the most popular comic actors of the 1950s and ’ 60s , Lewis perfected the role of the quirky clown but also was also prized as a writer, actor and philanthropist in a career spanning six decades.
His agent was quoted as saying he died in Las Vegas early on Sunday morning .
