Cristiano Ronaldo shines in the match as he scored a hat-trick - topped with a sensational 88th minute free-kick - to earn Portugal a draw against Spain in their World Cup opener.

The Real Madrid star scored a fourth minute penalty and also netted in the 44th minute after an error by Spain goalkeeper David De Gea, but the European champions were twice pegged back by Diego Costa.

Nacho appeared to have won the game with a phenomenal long range drive, but Ronaldo placed a perfect free kick in the top corner to steal Portugal a point in Group in the previous match I'm the group Iran Defeated Morocco by a goal to nill courtesy of an own-goal by Aziz Bouhaddouz in the 95th minute of the match, with that victory Iran is now leading Group B with 3 points.

Portugal will face Morocco in the next match of the group while Iran will take on Spain on the 20th of this month.
