Qualities we learn from our parents

Raising kids is one of the toughest jobs but the going will get easier as you implement and instill these good qualities of parenting, in your children.

We should be able to identify some qualities that worthy of looking after, as a parent(s). The parenting style contributes to the qualities the kids can learn from parent, and also enhances the ability of the child to learn from his or her parents. The number of children as well as the age interval can alter the rate at which he or she will learn from the parents.

After all, virtually all parents are willing to raise the children that will make them proud now and in the hereafter, which is not limited to their financial status but extends to their willingness to love, care and listen to the children. Money can answer all questions but not the response to every questions, sometimes the children might not need your money, and they might need time and affection from their parents.

All these encompasses the qualities, they can learn from you as a parent;

SOCIAL RELATION – Home is an important agent of socializing in the society. The family needs to interact and communicate within one another to solve problems and also strengthens their love. The parents that do not interact with their children will likely raise children with low self-esteem, moody and depression. 

HARD WORK – This is one of the qualities you can pass unto your children as they are growing up. When you communicate with the children, they have the privilege to know your daily routines; the time you leaves home for work, how you achieve your goals, reminding them about their assignments and other house chores. This will surely send some messages to them and will wish to become someone like their parents one day.

APPRECIATION – It is a key to happiness, your children needs to learn this habit from you by appreciating your creator for his kindness to appreciating other members of the family and the people around you. You can also remind the children to say thank you when someone presents a gift to them.

LOVE – As a parent, it is important to show your kids love likewise between the parents. Loving the kids will not spoil them and they will feel secured when they realize their parents love each other. Plant the seed of love in your kids, they will surely love every one that comes their way.

RESPECT – Whatever you sow is the ultimate fruit you will harvest. If you as parents do not respect yourselves and set boundaries to what you do in the presence of the kids, it might lead to headache later on. Therefore, learn to respect yourself, be kind to yourself, treat people nicely and I am sure the kids will learn this from you.

Even though, raising kids could be one of the toughest jobs of parenting, but a good parenting is incomplete without the instillation of a good Social-relation, Hard working spirit, Sense of Appreciation, Love and Respect in the kids. Most of the good kids out there, are product of these identified qualities.
