Still on Biafran Secessionists by Salaam Rasak O.

In a more candid tone that is rare-like, Nigeria is a composition of three basic mutually antagonistic groups. The conviction that we are one, a united front, is not discernable despite my ceaseless research.

I have come to the following conclusion as a political-realist, not a political-pessimist or political-optimist, that we need to take a pragmatic action against this long standing division. Truly, the song that Nigeria's unity is nonnegotiable is out of logical content. A statement rooted in idealism.

I so cherish the deployment of army, Operation Python Dance II to the South East to douse tension, nevertheless, forces is not the way out. I charge the Biafran agitators to follow the bureaucratic process of secession and the government should also be open-minded. Let's not drift away from fact, this is obtainable even in developed climes. There is no one best way and no one is indispensable. It is because you have not been left in the lurch that you think that that companion is a nucleus in your life.

Again, we may reference the would-be Catalonia referendum in Spain, the secession of  Britain from the EU, the dissolution of the Soviet Union leading to Bulgaria, Russia, among others. They flourish well after peaceful, rational and logical balkanization. Shall we stop putting the wheat and the shaft together?
