Cristiano Ronaldo names the three players Real Madrid sold that they're currently missing
In an interview after the game, Ronaldo hinted at why his side have not been performing to the standards expected of them this season.
The four time Ballon D'or winner actually pointed to the departures of Pepe, James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata in the summer, which in his opinion has made them weaker.
Ronaldo said,"All the players who left this summer made us stronger.
"It's no excuse, but players like Pepe, James (Rodriguez), (Alvaro) Morata ... made us stronger.
"The boys are the future, but they are young and it shows the experience."
The 32-year-old also admitted his frustrations with his teams form, but was adamant that they can transform their fortunes.
Ronaldo continued: "It's bad because we lose and are used to winning. It is a streak. It's not like we wanted, but football changes.
