What young Benfica keeper said will make United fans smile

Benfica’s teenaged goalkeeper Mile Sviler’s post-match comments is surely something that will get Manchester United fans excited. Although, the 18-year old’s inadvertent mistake gave United the lead, just two weeks after his error also earn the Red Devils a win in the Champions League.

But that notwithstanding, Benfica boss Rui Vitoria picked Svilar for Benfica's following two league games and for the reverse clash against the Red Devils on Tuesday.

And the young Belgian looked to put any previous nightmares behind him when he brilliantly saved Anthony Martial's penalty.

But just as Svilar appeared to be regaining his confidence, Nemanja Matic's shot from distance hit the post and ricocheted in off the keeper's back.

And when asked what it was like, as a teenager, to play at Old Trafford, Svilar responded with an answer that United fans will love.

"I ain't going to lie," began Svilar. "It was really magnificent to play at the Theatre of Dreams at my age."
